Reasons Why Your Certificates Of Origin For Egypt May Be Refused
Egyptian British Certificate of Origin (orange in colour)
1) An Arab-British certificate of origin must not be used for Egypt. Please use a European Community Certificate of Origin
2) 2 extra-completed yellow copies mustbe attached to your certificate of origin (ie 1 original certificate and 3 yellow copies). Please use the same serial number throughout your set. (Blank yellow copies may be obtained from the Chamber).
3) An authorised signatory must sign in box 6 of the certificate throughout, (ie the top original copy, the 3 yellow copies and the pink application copy).
4) Should you require invoices to be legalised also, we require 1 original commercial invoice and 4 copy invoices. The invoices must be originally signed.
5) Please ensure that payment is attached to your certificate of origin and accompanying invoice(s) indicating what documents you require processed.
